What is FTS Plus?

FTS Plus combines the usual first trimester screen with preeclampsia screening in one appointment.

Who can have FTS Plus?

If you are pregnant with one baby, are between 11-14 weeks of pregnancy, and provide your consent, you can have FTS Plus.

Do I need to do anything extra?

No - FTS Plus uses the blood work you already had drawn for your FTS. When you come for your NT ultrasound, you will sign a consent for the screen and meet with a nurse to have your blood pressure taken and to review your health history. During your ultrasound, the sonographer will take an additional measurement of the blood flow to your uterus.
